That's fuckin wild. I was outside until about 2 am last night, grilling and chilling with a fire smoldering in the pit and I didn't see a god damn thing. North Central Florida, haven't seen a fuckin cloud in two days. Thick cloud bank this morning, but I was really hoping to see some Auroras last night, that's kinda why I stayed up so late.

Local meteorologist suggests using your sailfoam camera to find, then once you find them it's easier to "see" with your eyes.

Might try tonight if it's not cloudy in North Georgia.

Supposedly night mode can help enhance the coloring...not sure if it's the infrared sensor or just ridiculous aperture.

When you take a picture of the sky with your phone, the long exposure makes it brighter and easier to see them.

Judging by the looks of the sky right now, it'll be a no go.

Saw the Aurora Borealis in the early 70s back in Pennsylvania. Huge rippling curtains of green neon lights across the sky. Pretty impressive. It's been foggy at night for this one.

Its deceiving. All the photos online arent what the naked eye sees.

If you can see it from Florida, Arizona, California, South Carolina, Idaho, etc it's not aurora borealis, it is HAARP

Did you use a tripod or just hold the camera / phone?
