Only a faggot would pay 40 dollars for a haircut. I've never paid more than 20 and that was with a 5 or 6 dollar tip.

Is $40 a typical going rate for hair cuts these days? My last one was like $12 plus tip. Shaving is so convenient.

I have a cheap cuts place in my area, i use for my sons, 8-10 years ago it was $5 - then $7 - then $10 - the holocov came and suddenly everything went ballistic, $13, $15, $17 like every 6 months, currently it is $20 and yes that is the cheapest here in town. (NZ).
Most places for a simple guys cut is minimum $35-40. Forget about using a le lame stylist and wash -$65-$70 for a cut is kinda the average.

I know right. I have my own clips and use a no1 fade on the sides.
Kids dont like my basic military style short back and sides cuts (i personally think my hair cutting ability is 'passably tidy' i just lack skill with scissor work hehehe) - so it's off to the cheap cuts for them.

It's actually because they sit there using the place for 3 hours as a lounge. Hair cutters have to pay space costs and get paid for their time.
