I’ve never been a fan of the modern country, but have you heard artists like Tyler Childers or Sturgill Simpson? They are pretty good to me, not sure if they’re really country. Wyatt Flores has some good tunes also.

I've not heard any of them. If you like it then ya like it. I don't crucify anyone for their tastes in music because I have a very eclectic taste in music. Its like a hotdog. I only like a certain type but also know that there's no wrong way to make a hotdog and people are free to however they like theirs. In other words, to each their own. The country music I like is Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakum. A lot of the old dogs stuff but I liked some of the 80's and 90's stuff too but after the 90's it just seems too fake or contrived for me.

I posted this on another site 6 or so months ago. I can field this question with MANY songs I hate. Here is my list of songs that just get played all the god damn time. They were once good but now they suck.

1) The Eagles - Hotel California. Not sure why. At least once a day on any station.

2) Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama. - This song is so overused there is a youtube video of how many movies it's been in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfN6Ty3-fL4
This includes the fucking Kid Rock knock off. No one plays "Balls in your Mouth". Kid Rock did that song. No airtime?

3) Journey - Don't stop believing. Ever since they ran that song on The Sopranos they to this day, still play this fucker. Journey made other songs. Many albums in fact. Many songs. Never hear any of those.

4) Another fucking "gem" from Lynyrd Skynyrd -Freebird. It was cool in Kingsman but come the fuck on. Give this song a fucking rest. It doesn't need to be played on 6 stations 12 times a day.

5) Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody. Again another band that put out a fuckton of albums and probably 100+ songs but THIS song is the only one that gets airtime. No one like Wayne's World. If Freddie Mercury were still alive he'd fucking hate it and would give Mike Myers AIDS on purpose.

6) Cats in the Cradle - Harry Chapin. MOTHER FUCK. Pops up on "easy listening stations" constantly. Has this Chapin guy wrote any other songs? This song has to be one of the worst songs ever made.

7) It's my life - Bon Jovi. Fuck that song and I hope any DJ who plays it dies by nigger gang rape.

8) Every song by The Weeknd is overplayed as well. Just because that nigger got lucky sounding like 80s music doesn't mean it's any good.

9) I want to see all the members of Imagine Dragons shoved into a car shredder. FEET FIRST.
