Flappy paddles aren't so bad. Indy/F1 uses the same setup. My 10 year old sedan has them, more fun for me than using a clutch.

No way a human shifts better then a BMW automatic transmission.

Correct. Or any dual clutch transmission.

Manual transmissions need to go to the same place as the spark advance lever and engine crank handle.
