I've been saying for 20 years that my bears are more human than humans...I've seen bears, as a group, take care of injured bears by sharing their food and giving them the space they need to rest without be harassed...bears are good entertainers and can get really acrobatic when goofing off including chasing each other all over the place...I've seen yearlings intentionally harasse big bruins and when being chased they would fake being tired allowing the big one to get right close and thinking that he's got the little shit disturber his paw comes out, in full stride, to make the grab, and like a fucking jacked up king cobra the shit disturber launches into full ballistic mode, the big guy is now off stride, off balance, he overruns himself and does a face plant on the lawn, he even got himself up in the wrong direction, it was "hillaryous", but it's not over yet, the big guy is winded and he's just standing in neutral with his jaw hanging open, huffing and puffing and looking at me while I'm laughing at him from maybe 25ft away...the little shit disturber, no fear whatsoever, right up front and in your face, strolls up within feet of the big guy just to goad him on, that bear couldn't run 20ft, he was beat and that little fucker knew it, so much so that he didn't even make effort to move any quicker than he was when returning...that was a very big day for that cub...fuck, I got winded just watching them and if anyone was to be in the way of the chase the bear would go right over them...I just had to share that...BUT...bears are better than humans.

Meanwhile a horse is a stupid ass animal that will kick you and paralyze you for no reason, even if it's known you it's whole life.
