I dont say this as someone who hates the arrogance and hubris of public employees and their reckless, dumb as shit way of thinking. These assholes profit of misery and think its funny. They literally laugh at the idea they are blatantly stealing from the taxpayer to fund their lavish lifestyles. Fuck em all.

Beyond that NYC is gonna need to cut these jobs eventually. To those saying they wont, good news! They dont have a fucking choice. No one will financially bond to NYC anymore (for obvious reasons, assuming the bonder would even get repaid which is highly unlikely) which will cause a laffer curve effect where more people leave. Once this happens, increase taxes, laffer curve re applies and more people leave.

As much as we think these gov entities wont cut spending, they'll do so when forced to. Sure, the city will go from the shithole it is now, to an even bigger shithole. Sure NYC will thrash its arms and panic, but outside increasing taxes to EU levels I can't see how they can ever fix this mess. We're talking doubling of the tax rate or more which is a very hard ask for people already losing their jobs left and right.

Nah, white is still the majority throughout the whole north side. Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wrigleyville, Wicker Park, River North. Courts have ruled in the past that pensions must be honored even if a city or county is going bankrupt. So what happens is they have to honor those pensions and they have to raise the hell out of the taxes that everybody who lives there to pay for the pensions of the fucking government workers who probably got their jobs because they were friends with somebody or they were d e i hires. But the courts have already ruled on it they can't get rid of their pensions.

And it's a pensions that are the real problem.

As has been shown "laws" dont mean shit since they gov can temporarily remove the law or re interpret that law to whatever it wants. Even assuming pensions must be paid, they can tap dance on the language for years. It will get interesting though to see how the normal population reacts to being robbed even more to pay for crippling diversity incompetence. I can't foresee people agreeing to pay 30% or more in state/city taxes on top of the federal rates to be treated like a criminal piece of shit with no rights.

My other issue is that all these NYC assholes move to nice, conservative areas and fuck it all up. A great example i was doing some landscaping in my house in the other state. I went to get a clipper to cut and trim a tree. My one family friend was horrified because i didn't call the local government regulator to get permission. For fun i called them, and they looked at me like i was some kind of retarded nigger for asking.

I think short term the pirates will pillage even more. NYC already has the highest income tax rate in the entire US, and it will only go up. When the Trump tax cuts came into place, every single liberal dump increased the tax rates on gas to "match" the old price. Price of gas went down to 1$ or so, and the gov just increased the rate to 3$+ per gallon. The end result is liberals claimed Trump tax cuts didn't work, without realizing their own government was robbing them blind. And apparently NYC did the same with income when the Trump tax cuts came into play, they just increased the local/state income tax rates. Hence people in NYC saw no discernible difference in their take home pay.
