At first, no one accepted Luther’s invitation. Over the next few years, however, his Ninety-Five Theses sparked a religious movement to reform the Catholic Church. Because the reformers were protesting against what they felt to be the abuses of the Catholic Church, they came to be known as Protestants. And because they wanted to reform the Catholic Church, that is, improve it by making changes, their movement is known as the Reformers.

Just a reminder that Catholocism is the largest branch of Christianity. Always has been and always will be.

nor you will find the apostles doing the same.

Incorrect, Catholocism was created and first led by jews. As with almost all Christian dominations. The very first christians were ebonite hebrews that insisted that Christianity was only for kikes. James, jesus's flesh and blood brother from Mary and Joseph even believed that Christianity was only for kikes.

Luther saw it right. But just this about the jews: they INVENTED a god and then they had the hubris to claim that they are his chosen people. You just have to dare.
