The story wasn’t fiction. He was a jew, and a communist. Couldn’t really make a film about Oppenheimer, and leave that out.

i also couldn't watch it. i got maybe 30 minutes into it and the glorifying of jews was too much.

I watched it in the cinemas, and got about 80% of the the way before I had to walk out. It was just too infuriating. I have no idea to the extent of his contribution to the project. It seemed to be like he was more of a project manager, and didn't have anything to do with the theory or hands on making of the bomb. That wasn't what pissed me off though. It was the ending where they make out Oppenheimer was wrongly being persecuted for being a communist and a security risk. He used to be a card carrying communist. His brother was a communist, his mistress was a communist, all his friends were communists and they would all socialize on the regular. literally every person this guy had dealings with outside of work was a communist. But, oh no! he's not a communist passing on top secret information to Russia. He renounced communism! They then make the bad guys in the movie all the people trying to discover the truth and bring him to justice. The part where they discover the traitor in the project was just barley glossed over, and only given a few minutes of screen time. After watching that movie and knowing how Jews work, I am almost certain that it was Oppenheimer who leaked pans for the bomb to his Jewish Comrades in Russia. He should have been executed along with the Rosenbergs for espionage. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Oppenheimer provided the Rosenbergs with information and they were just the middle men. Had to get that off my chest, as it has been pissing me off for months.

I am positive RT is "adjusting" the scores. Americans are not so fucking stupid.

Sure the movie is "Oppenheimer" not "Nuclear Weapons", but this movie's only concern with nukes is to get trailer footage, and insofar it's related to the investigation. It's ridiculous how they hyped it up as a movie that makes you terrified of MAD. But they almost purposefully don't show anything that doesn't directly affect Oppenheimer.

I kind of expected to see how recklessly the feds tried to figure out nuclear strategy, see shit like Operation Crossroads, or at least Hiroshima. They even have a scene where someone is showing pictures of Hiroshima burn marks, and we are purposefully facing away from the pictures, like he is taunting us.

And they tried to flip it positively with the "no CGI" shit, of course you don't have to when you only show Trinity. Hell, real Operation Crossroads footage is more impressive than what they show in the film.

This movie is just not on that scale, it's about arguing about who is a communist in a small room for three hours.

Most people don't like it but they're afraid to be honest because they think it will make them seem uncultured or low class.

It is so fucking boring. Most of the movie is him sitting in a meeting talking. Watching it is like a day of training at a bullshit job except you're not getting paid.

It's a mass murdering kike pretending he feels bad about mass murdering, when in reality, they were laughing their asses off and enjoyed setting off between 1-2 nukes a month for 60 years. this is absolutely how you know fallout and whatever from a nuclear attack will do absolutely nothing to the earth.

I quit around then too. Nothing prior to then was worth watching either. Just a series of conversations super short and disjointed with no real purpose. It was tommy waisue level of directing. At least with the room I felt like there was a story.

I couldn't finish it either. It's so dull.

Upgoat shroud aside, is it a good movie or no?
