Bleeding Gums cured with Niacin

submitted by Trope to NaturalRemedies 10 monthsJun 20, 2024 22:15:01 ago (+28/-0)     (NaturalRemedies)

Knowing some of you are deathly afraid of visiting the dentist, it would seem useful here.

The doctor who wrote the book Niacin The Real Story shares his experience supplementing with large doses of Niacin (Vitamin B3). As he used it to cure patients suffering schizophrenia, he began to supplement it to better understand and explain the warm flush it causes in the body.

After three weeks of supplementing 1000mg three times daily, the bleeding in his gums stopped. He’s been certain this would stay with him for the rest of his life. He also did the equivalent of vitamin C.

Don’t take my word for it. The book is available on The Internet Archive. I am excited to watch my own periodontal disease remiss. Gums red for many years are now pink. Teeth are starting to whiten since I stopped consuming caffeine/coffee and began brushing with baking soda. Will give updates on that front as time goes on. Although I owe a good deal of that to finally getting the deep cleanings done. When the hardened plaque starts to push the gums away from the teeth, you cannot remove that by brushing and I’d like to advise you all to be brave enough to do the needful.

I'm surrounded by geriatrics.
Baking soda you say?

You can also scrape it yourself with tools. If you're not gonna go to the dentist. st least try that. Don't scratch your enamel.

Or just floss your teeth, 3 days no more bleeding gums. Cut out sugar in your life and you won’t need to floss so much.

I’m not saying the other users shouldn’t try that. However, I don’t believe it would work that fast.

Thanks for sharing the book. It’ll be next on my list. Currently finishing a book on Sodium Bicarbonate.

Interesting, You also have to floss, then brush

Flossing was a habit I could never develop. Fortunately, the current era offers us the water pick option.

Thank you for sharing useful information.

While I generally agree with what you’ve said, Highlighting vitamin C deficiency as the sole source of heart disease dismisses a great deal of environmental factors including most notably the consumption of seed oils from 1900 onward and the decline in animal products.

Quit swearing, I’m going to read your suggested book, dipshit.

Thank you.

That guy has no idea how to convince people. He goes in aggro mode without comprehending well intentioned replies. If this is how retarded high dose vitamin c makes you, I would rather avoid

Feel free to report back on the seed oil experiment. That could be useful data.

Niacin flush gets you redder than a dog dick. I’ve done it a couple times but usually best before bed unless you want to look like a weirdo in public.

[ - ] observation1 1 point 10 monthsJun 21, 2024 02:19:58 ago (+1/-0)

the flush itches so bad

Makes me tired as hell

[ - ] ItsOk2bArian 1 point 10 monthsJun 21, 2024 03:39:33 ago (+1/-0)

Excessive amounts of niacin can shutdown your kidneys. You may want to consult a medical professional and have some blood work done if you plan on doing this long term

If you pair that with an IR sauna, you can really move a lot of toxins out of your system in a short period of time.

"do the needful" You're from India! :) No single vitamin or mineral supplement can do everything: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bS2P313iVzQ

90 for life (beyond tangy tangerine supplement) is what I use

This is an Indian thing?

[ - ] beece 2 points 10 monthsJun 20, 2024 23:14:18 ago (+2/-0)

Bleeding gums murphy approves.

But floss and brush.

[ - ] NoRefunds 0 points 10 monthsJun 21, 2024 10:05:26 ago (+0/-0)

the flossing crap doesn't cure bleeding gums. I've had sensitive gums since I was 15 and they bleed every fucking day, I floss in the shower.

[ - ] Crackinjokes 3 points 10 monthsJun 20, 2024 22:44:13 ago (+4/-1)

Niacin is not the same thing as vitamin d3. And you need 10,000 IU's of vitamin d3. Per day. Bleeding gums is probably vitamin c. Most people don't get enough and they actually all have mild scurvy which is why you have skin rashes flaking skin bleeding gums and other signs of scurvy. Most old people have mild scurvy.

Typo. Chalk that up to the website as I had corrected it upon posting.

Scruvy and rickets was once common with ship sailors until they started hauling lemons. VitC is water soluble and hard to overdose on with enough water, but you need extra potassium/magnesium/salt when super-hydrating.

Toothache? Use Hydrogen Peroxide 1/2 strength rinse to debribe the surface. Swish occasionally with ice water. Few drops of clove oil on a cotton swab and hold it in place as local anesthetic. Some temporary fillings have clove oil.

Tea tree oil is anti-fungus. Eucalyptus and mint open pores and decongest mucus.
Drink more acids and use a tongue scraper if it's white (ie bacteria is shitting in your mouth)
Mouth plaque gets into the bloodstream and causes all sorts of other problems from thinking to joint pain to heart issues.

You've got 10x more bacteria than human cells in your body. Most of our DNA strand is non-human and/or unused. 30ft of colon.
We are walking incubator bags for a mix of single cell cultures, and the good stuff keeps us alive and strong.

"doses of niacin under 1,000 mg are considered safe, higher doses can cause liver damage, gastritis, diabetes and an increase in blood uric acid levels."

I stumbled onto an early recipe for "toothpaste" from an Asian doctor a long time ago. He had some of the healthiest teeth I'd seen and refused to use any commercial toothpaste products.

His recipe was simple, but it called for some complex ingredients. The starting ingredient was filtered water mixed with liquid oxygen in a 1:1 ratio. He would then mix about 5 or 6 tablespoons of Bob's Red Mill baking soda in a cup with a tablespoon of cinnamon (for taste and smell removal), and a tablespoon of finely ground cloves. He used some kind of special cloves that he had, but I've been using the basic pantry Badia brand stuff for both the cinnamon and cloves and had good results.

He would dip the end of his toothbrush in the oxygen water mixture, let it drip until the rest was settled into the brush, and then dip the brush into the baking soda mixture cup. If you gently rub the brush into the mixture, it thickens up around the brush and gives you a nice ball of everything together.

Keep your teeth clean and in good condition. Your teeth are a very important part of your body and something that a lot of people take for granted. And AVOID ROOT CANALS at all costs. Seriously, I'm starting to think that some of the more crazy theories that root canals might lead to mental diseases might be somewhat practical. It's already coming out that vasectomies cause damage to mental health later in life, and while it's unrelated to this subject, it's probable that damaging a part of your body might have inadvertent side effects in other areas that haven't been fully explored as plausible reasons just yet.

[ - ] observation1 2 points 10 monthsJun 21, 2024 02:18:14 ago (+2/-0)

2nd never do a root canal

[ - ] Belfuro 2 points 10 monthsJun 21, 2024 04:19:04 ago (+2/-0)

Or pull.

Last resorts only, they can kill you

[ - ] Trope [op] 1 point 10 monthsJun 20, 2024 23:16:22 ago (+1/-0)

Thank you for sharing. I cannot oxygenate water but can definitely keep my sodium bicarbonate in a cup.

Hydrogen Peroxide and Methylene Blue are beneficial for gum and teeth health swished in the mouth. Research it and you'll see H2O2 is also great for Nasal and Lung viral infections. You'll have to get a nebulizer with mask to inhale it.(3% and dilute it 1/2 or 1/3)
