Drove through Idaho, here is a report on the taters since they shut the water off.

Lots of fields are lying fallow, but some are still green. My guess is they made them shut off the valves to the irrigation pulled from the rivers and ditches. They are still watering but it must be from wells. The moms and pop farms still look green so they must have grandfathered wells. I'm thinking its only the big corporate farms are being affected by gubmints no water order. So there will probably be a French fry shortage this year or next.

That’s a subtle way to say the food production is under direct attack. Why is that?

The food production IS under attack. But I've found people process things better when they think they make these big realizations on their own. They become more invested.

The shut off order was rescinded about a week ago.

They reversed the decision to stop the water... For now.

After a certain percentage already obeyed and killed off their crops, losing millions and bankrupting them. Now the mega-corps who want us all to die get to own that farm land!

Lol. Watch what happens when people figure out the scam.

I've heard the Ogallala Aquifer levels are falling. Just to clarify I don't think that Idaho is over it, but this aquifer waters 25% of the country's grain production, it's the largest in the world.

Another dustbowl would be an environmental disaster that would affect everyone. Imagine a food shortage, and what people would do. Pack your pantries with long lasting food, folks, it might be the difference between life and death.

I lived in Alpine Wy for a couple of summers. The drive from Alpine to Idaho Falls is gorgeous. The highway mostly follows the Snake River (the water source they're going after) and its some of the most beautiful and fertile land on earth.

Big state killing crops is never good, regardless of benefit to you

Commodities market has been manipulated like this since before either of us were born

By 'shortage' you mean 'fake price gouging'. Just like eggs were somehow always available, but at a price gouging high price. Got it.
