They shouldn't. The wagie behind the register gets paid min wage or maybe a little more. It's the servers and bussers who make Africa tier slave wages and rely on tips for most of their income. They also have to help with prep and cleanup which obv does not bring in a tip, for that $3/hour or whatever it is.
