Actually in war most cats are targets.
Some dogs(questionable health) but cats get dusted by long range shooters

It's amazing to think that these guys are in a World War I situation living in trenches again just like in World War i.

It will continue just like it did in World War I until the people finally refused to fight and the get up out of their trenches and they leave. The leaders will never stop the killing. they never do.
