The place is lake front and the majority of houses are year round, but only visited on the weekends by professional families from MA, NY and CT. They all love me because I am the guy on the road with a tractor, LOL. They need someone to grade the road, plow a path when the plow guy doesn't show up. Its a beautiful place. I'm sure there are some good areas there but its one of the places that got ravaged by the drug problems/pillbillies. It would be worth checking out. Pocahontas county is incredible. Its like the Swiss Alps. Lincoln county is decent and near Clay. Parts of Fayette county is good. Its where New River Gorge Bridge is. a very rural place, good people. Nicholas county is okay. Lewisburg is a happening town that is growing fast. A lot of interesting characters there. Its like the best of both worlds -rural meets happening city and mostly white for now.
