Monroe was a bit before my time, so she never got my eyebrows up. However, I used to hear comparisons between Monroe and Anna Nicole Smith.

When I was 16, my grandma lived in Mexia Texas, in the same town in which a 16 year old Anna Nicole Smith worked the counter at the Dairy Queen. Can’t count the number of times I drove my shitbox 30 miles to the Dairy Queen, so I could gaze at her up close. That bitch sold a lot of BeltBuster hamburgers that no one was interested in.

She hit the wall fast after she became famous. At 16, she wore the hell out of a Dairy Queen uniform. 40 years later, it’s still burned in my memory.

Didn't think anything of Monroe until one day saw a film called the "7 year itch."

Jewish film. Terrible film.

However, one can immediately see why she was such a big deal.

Stunning, tall, naive, submissive, and a complete knock out. She had a Betty Boop act which I'm sure she used on JFK.

Monroe was somebody who's still photos didn't do justice. And it was in a decade when women really didn't look that good.

I always though Anna Nicole Smith didn't look that good but sounds like she had that same presence.

That being said.

Monroe had a better face. And Smiths rise in popularity came in a decade when there were thousands of women arguably more attractive, and so she didn't have the luxury of standing out as much.

I had heard of Marilyn Monroe and how beautiful she was, however it was not until I saw her and Jane Russell together in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at age 5 yrs in 1955 that I really got up close .. Marilyn Monroe was and still is the most beautiful sexy woman I ever encountered in any medium anywhere.

Had to Google it as I’ve never paid much attention. She’s very slender in the younger photographs but there are a few later photos where she is more filled out and dolled up.

I believe she does look great in a handful of photos but I 50/50 on his. Not a strong opinion. But to answer your question, No.

Nah, way before my time. Though, I will admit I had a crush as a kid on the late Yvonne Craig who played Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in those campy "Batman" tv show reruns starring the late Adam West.

Regardless, of the late JFK's adultery though, that the man who had him murdered was such a ruthless cold-hearted bastard as to have his dead boss's widow standing to his left as he's being sworn in to replace him with her husbands body in a casket below their feet. Miss Monroe was a big influence on women of the time.She was smart,pretty,sexy,& sultry,whereas women of that era were still very much(sheepish)& placed just out of the spotlight.Female actresses of today owe her a huge"Thank You"for her dedication & commitment to bringing shear talent to the acting arts.
