There was a vid posted here a while ago where an african was saying something like: "Africa doesn't always have te newest stuff but we make gigan leaps in technology" meaning stuff like having land lines, skiping the 90s and 00s cell phones and geting right away into smartphones.
Basically staying behind way too long and then mooching off waht the rest of the world has established decades ago.
Imagine you’re chilling on the southern coast of Spain when a fleet of these fill the horizon coming from Morocco. Half of them are falling out of the sky and diving straight into the water.
If, some random african, manages to build their own choppa that can fly that far (even a shitty one seat) , without the help of whites or chinks, by just accessing and replicating data avilable.
And after doing that manages to overcome the "empire of dust" factor and crate a fleet of them, at this point there will be no need for the groid to storm Euro beaches.
All that would imply they now can make use of the wast resources their home has to offer.
FUCK...just one more 2x4 blade secured with the right amount of duct tape in a symmetrical wrap and he just might get airborne...I wouldn't worry too much about the resonating wobble and it's effect on the structure because once it flys apart the wobble diminishes, obviously the guy's a genius because he was able to bypass the need for a tail rotar, generally without centrifugal counter forces the rotating dynamics would have an auger effect basically screwing everything into the ground...how come 1st world aerial engineers can't come up with something of the sort? BOEING should hire this guy
I'm gunna be totally honest with you guys... I am actually super impressed with the flight efforts made by Africans. Granted, they are ALL hilarious failures, but they have come sooo much closer than I would have expected. It's genuinely endearing to watch these silly monkeys make such attempts. Who knows, maybe some day, one of them will get lucky, or even figure it for real. But, then of course, all the other silly monkeys in the village will crack the one "smart" monkey's head open, and all eat it's brain, hoping that this will somehow give them the power of flight. Silly monkeys.
"Who knows, maybe some day, one of them will get lucky, or even figure it for real."
For all we know, they have. It's just none have survived their initial success, so we never hear about it.
The problem with being unable to imagine possible future outcomes from current data is, they have all had to discover the hard way that, in aviation of all types, it's not the takeoff or the flight that matters, so much as the nature of the landing.
You can soar like an eagle all you like, but if you land like a falling brick...
My anticipation kept building up for a festive, hilarious, and energetic "dynamic dissassembly" to occur with the sort of results that could be set to "Yakkety Sax" and backed up by a laugh track.

Just you watch, guys. Pretty soon, Africans will be capable of flying short distances with limited controls and safety. It’s only a matter of time.

Imagine my disappointment.
