The festival is in Missouri... Texas county. The original land was the one people say is a gift. He originally tried raising 2 million to buy a big compound type thing. Only raised 400k which I should have bought into but didn't.

The question to ask is if anybody has a good reason (evidence) to think Owen is going to do what he said he would. The answer is: no. Nobody has a good reason to think so. Owen was taking back claims about what he'd be doing with the property (literally) as soon as he made the move. It was all possibility and hype in the lead-up. Once he got there, then he started talking about the safety of his family. Convenient. So far, he has thrown a party in a field. He has invited some of his cult members to come do what amounts to free work getting ready for that event. There is no sign he is going to do anything other than throw a yearly party. This is not what he was selling when he was collecting the money. That's all there is to it.

If you live on the typical .5-1 acre lot, it's going to take less than an hour. Up to a 5-acre lot, maybe a couple of hours max.
