Uh, yeah. I'm old enough to remember when we still had a "federal gold reserve" that still had gold in it, a "strategic oil reserve" that had actual oil in it, and a "social security saving account" system that had money in it.
How'd those work out?
As I recall, they each lasted only until the politihogs managed to find some justification for getting their snouts into the trough. And they always will.
Time to make a new trough and call it something new, huh?
How long after it's created do you think it will be before American taxpayers will be REQUIRED to deposit part of their earnings into it to keep it propped up and the money spigot open.
