Guardian Essential poll: three-quarters of Australians believe MPs enter politics to serve own interests

Politicians are bankrolled by international corporate lobbyists, and representative democracy is effectively dead.

The poll of 1,122 Australians also found 75% of respondents believed politicians enter politics to serve their own interests, while 25% believed they do so to serve the public interest.

...and the other 25% are employed by the government.

“Many democratic countries are becoming less democratic. Like a virus, populists are replicating at an exponential rate,” O’Neil said.

Because Western politicians are shabbos goys effectively working for jewish NGO interest groups that fund them. They are merely using politics as a stepping stone to become a consultant for either the Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex or Military Industrial complex to earn FU dollars.
