Good effort and it shows that their hearts are in the right place, but the lads are clearly new at this. They need to talk with their elders about their formula and placement.

Try mixing half and half gasoline and used (NOT new) motor oil. The oil gives a longer hotter burn and the microscopic metals particulates suspended in it (hence the "used") also give it a hotter flame.
Someone should help them rediscover the "staff sling" for increased range.
