This is a toy my brother and I played with in the 60s...think they would let kids play with this now?

It heated up a metal mold and you pressed a thin layer of plastic over it to make the shape in the vacuum.

It came with four samples of uranium-bearing ores (autunite, torbernite, uraninite, and carnotite), as well as a working Geiger counter.

Also came with a comic book featuring Dagwood from the Blondie comic strip, titled "Learn How Dagwood Splits the Atom", and written in conjunction with General Leslie Groves, director of the Manhattan Project.

Radar Magazine dubbed the Atomic Energy Lab one of "the 10 most dangerous toys of all time" in 2006.

In the 70's we went outside and played with Jarts.

You were a bunch of faggots in the 60's.

Soldering metal has a lower melting point than some plastics. They even have infrared soldering guns to melt those metal connections next to plastic material so that the metal melts before the plastic does.
