i voted yes but it was also because of the extreme violence being portrayed on the show. to me this show lacked a coherent plot and more often than not characters just rambled on to the next violent or sexual scene
I was drinking a lot when I first started watching it. I remember it felt like a good drama. Full of much emotion. Although I never cared for fantasy, I remember caring about the characters.
I believe I enjoyed it up until season 4. The medieval fantasy setting made for simplifications of otherwise realistic ideas.
The biggest shame was the story constantly devolved. It was tragedy after tragedy with no character progressing at all. Save for dragon girl.
My wife and I binged watched it and loved the whole thing. We have an expensive TV which rarely gets turned on. Watched the Trump - Biden debate live was the last time it was on.
I watched one episode with my buddies. So I had no context but it was exactly what I expected. Naked women, a bunch of drama and violence. Pretty much what I expected. Martin is a fucking fat pervert.
