I read an article explaining how a significant portion of people who feel Harris won did so because she had nicer things to say. So that's the problem. Facts and knowledge don't matter. Someone lying to you doesn't matter, so long as the lie makes you feel good.

Now ask yourself what group of people tends not to care about facts and verifiable truth, but tend to care more about their emotions at any given moment to decide what's "true"? People like that are easy marks for exploitation and shouldn't have influence on decision making.
