They're furry serpents sent by our lizard person overlords to spy on and disrupt human activities.
I just thought it was a bit odd that nobody I know has a cat.

I want a cat. I want a maine coon cat. A big fluffy bear cat. I want to feed him raw meat so he grows super large. I'm just worried that being inside won't be enough for him and he will run away and get stolen or killed if I let him in the back yard.

They do well as outdoor cats. Some house cats are sufficiently domesticated for indoor living but I would say that Maine Coon cats are too smart and active to be kept indoors.

I had a Maine coon I found as a stray. When I found him, he was so malnourished I thought it was a female kitten/adolescent. I took him to the vet and nope, he was a ~5 year old male. After eating normally for a few months, he doubled in size to over 20 pounds. He was indoor/outdoor and stayed mostly in the backyard if I let him out. They're very vocal and loyal. Best cat I ever had!
