Check reviews. One concern is heat, how does it stay cool enough?

Depends on the applications needed.

I have a similar one that does everything my 3 year old desktop (with integrated graphics) did and does everything way better.

The integrated graphics will be the one big drawback as this little box will never replace my 4060 desktop for gaming or heavy gpu tasks.

This one has some pretty decent graphics review videos, but costs the same as a lot of dedicated gpu desktops too:

Only way to answer that is to know what you intend to use it for.

High end games and local llms for example might make it struggle.

Email and YouTube and calculator will run just fine.

Edit:
I took a closer look and the specs seem pretty solid. I'd trust most of that will be pretty fast and just look up what other people say about the ‎AMD Radeon 680M graphics coprocessor to see what that can handle.

Yes. I've deployed that exact one bought it for $406.70 on february 2.

I wouldn't buy it again, on account of the LED software being shit and if you use linux you'll have no led control.

Also, Acemagic had a problem with malware being preloaded in the past.

If you want a minipc my suggestion is to take a look at what minisforum offers. Buy a barebones kit. And run linux on it.

I personally switched from a self built tower to a minipc about two years ago.

At that price point, just buy yourself a console and spare yourself the trouble of managing a computer and operating system. Gaming is better on a couch with a controller with friends instead of sitting at a desk and computer chair.

But modern consoles operate more like computers these days. Heck, I haven’t seen any ROM cartridges since the N64.

Yes.
The newer AMD APUs are great.
Not powerful enough for gaming but the Z2 is on the way.
