I like being on the outside of the hurricane trajectory. Last time one hit us, here I drew a picture for you of what happened.

I lent my room to a family and stayed at this lady's house down the street. We had power. After a day and a half or so, I went outside at 6:00 in the morning. The storm was over. I walk up the road. At the corner I look left and there's a car stuck sideways. Right then something cold and metallic touches my right shin bone. It was a wire that had fallen and the car drove through it. It was wrapped around the wheel and stopped the car. It was pulled tight as a tightrope and i walked into it. Really blew my mind.

I got to my house about a half hour later and it was like the end of days in there. There was no power and a bunch of people were there living like Savages. When the lights go out in Florida it gets ugly really fast. I moved back into my room but we didn't get power back for another 6 days. Half of our development had power and 60 storks came in and stood around for a week. It was pretty weird.

Man we were without power for like... a week earlier on in the year. Were on tank water with a pump so no showers or toilet for a week unless we fucked around with the genny.

Was funny as fuck but, bought this lego mclaren and sat there building it by torchlight for 3 days 'trying not to wake up grandma' then remembering I'm a grown ass man, grandma died 15 years ago, and I pay fuckin rent.
