Toxoplasmosis gondii is a parasite that replicates inside a cats intestines. It can only do so properly there, so what does it do? It infects rats thru exposure and makes them LOVE CATS. They are no longer afraid of them and want to be near them. The cat then eats them and the cycle continues. IT MIND CONTROLS THE MICE.
BUT WAIT! There's MORE...
It can infect humans as well and pass from human to human. It makes us love cats as well, and it makes cats like infected humans. They can smell it on us. This is why we care for them. THEY MIND CONTROL US FOR LOVE AND SHELTER AND FOOD.
BUT WAIT! there's MORE...
Being infected by toxoplasmosis gondii before puberty ends PHYSICALLY ALTERS your features to be MORE SYMETRICAL AND ATTRACTIVE, as well as your pheromone scent. This makes you a more desirable partner to infected other humans. IT LHYSICALLY CHANGES OUR BODY STRUCTURES TO IMPROVE ITS SURVIVAL AND PROLIFERATION.
BUT WAIT! THERES MORE!
Cats are APEX PREDATORS.they are quite literally the perfect biological machine. Nothing comes close to comparing in overall ability, big or small. So if you were a parasite capable of altering physical and mental attributes of your host, and you could only replicate in a single type of receptacl, you would want that receptacle to be THE ULTIMATE MACHINE. Toxoplasmosis gondii has MADE cats the perfect apex predator.
IN CONCLUSION...Its pretty neat and we should all love cats and be close to them so toxoplasmosis gondii can make us more perfect and better as well. Fuck the haters. This message was brought to you by a totally normal human being of sound mind and body.
Honestly if I had a small child in the house I would not keep a cat and maybe not even a dog. I think there is something to the theory that cat owners can have mental or sexual weirdness due to TG exposure.
There is an argument to be made that both dogs and cats have evolved as parasites of us. Some of them had functions in some societies. Not so much anymore though. Humanizing our pets may be dangerous and may interfere with our evolutionary mandate.
The problem with that is you then erase our whiteness. Empathy and our connection to animals is bound together. I say Without exposure to animals throughout your young life on an intimate familial level causes those problems, and more including allergies and immune issues. We ARE who we are because of our bond with nature.
I don’t really agree. I think we are better allocating our extra resources toward useful white endeavors not silly pets. Can’t we spend that money on white people rather than animals? Why can’t we have empathy for whites instead?
Without exposure to animals throughout your young life on an intimate familial level causes those problems, and more including allergies and immune issues.
I know the theory you are talking about and its very controversial. Catching toxoplasmosis is not good for you. Lots of people who grow up with pets have terrible allergies.
Some people think that because our ancesters herded animals that we evolved overaggressive immune systems to fight off zoonotic parasites. Without those parasites we are susceptible to autoimmune disease. People in rural areas with poor hygiene have high parasitic infestation and also have low autoimmune disease. So perhaps we are healthier with some parasites like whipworms in some cases. I kind of doubt there will be a good risk reward ratio with most of them, including toxoplasma.
I've been no lover of "toxoplasmosis monsters", never liked them, probably because they were always nuisance animals on the homestead, feral cats were chicken killers and when their numbers expanded so too did the number of .22 rnds fired...BUT...I did raise a mountain lion/cougar, now that baby was an apex predator...just a point of interest, one day when out for a drive in the country with my cat at my side, I got out of my truck to look at a dirt bike in the ditch, out of nowhere 2 big shepherds are barreling for me, I'm reaching for my shouldered .357mag and just when they got within about a hundred feet my cat leaps out of the open door and was all over those dogs, the dogs were literally shocked with one taking both of my cat's jaws to the back of it's neck and the side to side shaking did a lot of damage, the other dog bolted, the injured one was being pawed viscously...all within seconds...I restrained my cat and the owner comes running out cursing to beat hell, then he sees my big cat and is stuck for words, I told him if his dogs were well disciplined this wouldn't have happened, he was fucking speechless, and my cat had a 4ft long 5/16" chain for a leash and it never slowed her down the least bit...amazing animals and I learned a lot about "big cat" behavior with that one. Believe it or not, they're very affectionate beasts and when they purr they literally vibrate the couch, they also have a heavy oil on their fur which really lingers in scent. Just thought I'd throw that in there
We had a cougar. Fun fact they aren't "large cats". They are the largest of the "small cats" genus. Large cats can't meow. Clio was awesome but they eat a LOT.
It can only be spread by catfish feces at very specific times and if those times are avoided it can't be spread.
I've never heard it can be spread human to human. What is the vector? It's not feces hopefully because only gay fagots are involved in other humans feces. So what's the vector?

Specifically, it's the scent of cat urine that they become SEXUALLY ATTRACTED to. This gets even weirder when you know that...

Ivermectin can cure Tg and actually cure homosexuality.
Look it up.
