Looks good to me. I do mine that way. I've been keeping my hair short for about ten years now. At this moment I have a beard. I'm usually clean-shaven. My beard looks like a skunks balls black/white. The hair on my head is still brown/black with not much gray. I had blonde hair when I was young until about 14 years old.
