The switch to usb c is starting to pay off finally

It's getting to the point everything uses one cord and I rarely have to go find a micro usb. It plugs right in without trouble and doesn't stop working after 2 months. Life is good. I hope the EU kills off the lightning cable for all your apple fags so we can all live in harmony.

Cause nothing is more frustrating than needing a USB, finding a cable that looks likely, and looking at the head only to see the apple faggotry poking out of the end.

Because 1 connector for everything makes sense. Everyone around me uses apple. We cant borrow each others charges, ect. It's just unnecessary. USB c is superior.

you can get type-c to microusb converter caps that you put on top of a type-c cable they cost a few bucks on aliexpress for 5

same for miniusb, usb-a usb-b etc

That sounds nice. Till you realize you will lose those. I actually had an apple one that you put on a microusb, but I lost it of course.

I bought 10 of them 4 years ago. I have at least five left. I put them in a bait tackle box along with a bunch of other usb shit.

As a computer guy, usb-c is just another standard I have to deal with on the daily. Thank god for adapters.

I have my USB-A peripherals but even I'm a fan of USB-C. It is better in every imaginable way.

No it isn't - male to female extension cables violate the USB-C spec.

For me it comes at a price which makes USB-A on the host irreplaceable - male to female extension cables. Some exist, but they violate the USB-C spec because the extension conflicts with the wiring in the context of flipping the connector. How USB didn't simply design the pins closed in pairs outside to inside is beyond me.

Simply extending the pins one for one will cause the extended cable only to work one way round, despite the new connector being flippable. This is the price of lazy fucks who couldn't learn which way round USB-A goes.
