I think teleport from Star Trek can't work. It basically destroys your body and creates a new copy of it at arrival. This means that you die and a new copy of you is created. Teleport can't work with living beings, only works with inanimate objects.
Nevermind the impossible compute power that would be required to not only store every particle in your body, but also map every particle in that instant.
Breaking down quarks requires temperatures many times that of the sun's core.
That is just one of probably many things about such a device that will kill you dead forever.
If you want to travel from A to B instantly you're going to have to find a shortcut through space, that won't kill you. Or figure out how to compress space or some shit.
Ask the aliens what do. They figured it out a long time ago, or a long time from now. One of those.
There is the question of whether it is physically possible. Then there is the question of whether or not it's the same object on the other side. The conditions for promoting every chemical bond that describes your body are hierarchical not simultaneous. This is why humans have a life cycle. The thermodynamic conditions for getting you started and for maintaining you at different stages are not the same. I would imagine that the energetic costs of nearly instantaneously assembling a functionally integrated human organism would be immense and would outstrip the economic utility very quickly. Then, in terms of the philosophical question, I guess it depends on how you come down on the 'ship of theseus' problem.
True, same as "cloning via copy" There is an outer limits episode that covers this concept quiet nicely.
If you "copy" a mind, you get just that, a copy. The original continues on, uniquely you still, which ofc means the copy IS NOT YOU.
In the episode, they must continually "balance the equation" by killing the original once the copy is receive at the transport station.
Well some shit goes wrong and they abort one, then find out later "hey the clone actually arrived, so lets get you back in the chamber, we have to balance the equation"
That's the one. Notably, the aliens giving us the "transport" technology, are reptiles who don't see what the concern is.
I think the only way we can ever get "the real person" into another biological or non-biological container/vessel/body, is if we can find a way to precisely clone-while-in-motion the exact "thought storm" of energy within the physical mind processor(brain).
You cannot just COPY their values and expect that to transport your consciousness, the actual electrons must be MOVED into the new vessel WITHOUT disturbing their arrangement and interconnected relations.
That is how you "move" a person, copying is bad. Copying means the world doesn't know I'm dead, but I am.
Again, reptiles, I took that as they "resolved" issues intellectually, but with brutality built in. For example, they would genocide a species, but not in a war, in a sanitary clean lab, after tricking them. Pacifist. You just killed all of them but hey, no war.
TNG is the best Star Trek. Still ghey and the actors irl are all fags but it's one of the only TV shows I've ever watched about the only show I've watched more than once. It's also funny to keep in mind that Klingons are space nigs and Ferengies are space jews lol.
It could be 2 weeks, it could be 2 years. But I don't think its gonna be more than that at my current rate of progress.
For example, the 280+ series of algorithms have a lot of internal variables that I thought might be useful. Most of these are derived from the public key and leak information about private keys, but don't give you the private key directly. These are called the known set. Variables that yield the private key directly are called the hidden set. Finding an equation that maps from the known to the hidden set is directly equivalent to factoring the public key and retrieving the private key as a result.
I've found multiple mappings that are either O(1) or log(n) time complexity between the two sets, but they all require initialization values that are completely unknown.
Well it turns out I have so many variables in the known set that no human could really parse them.
But if I can take variables x0...xn, and use training data from a set of pre-generated keys (where I know the private key), generate the relevant values for the set of all known variables and hidden sets (b/c it is trivial to get the hidden set where I've generated a private key myself as training data), I can build machine learning models that let me iteratively refine and estimate hidden set variables and initialization values for public keys where I don't know the private key.
I built a demo about a month ago using linear regression, that did just that, predicted hidden variable values from a subset of the known variables, with an accuracy of ~98%.
The next step is to write my own linear and non-linear regression lib customized for this specific task, then write a random forest model to select the subset of variables that have the best correlation to the hidden set. And thats what I'm doing currently. I wrote a system for neural architecture search and came up with some novel non-standard activation functions that I think will do the trick and a lot more than that, but we'll see.
From there I plan on writing a system that takes a public key, plugs into the code that generates a known set of variable values for that particular key, feeds it into the ML model, spits out good initialization variables for the 280+ series of algorithms, as well as good estimates of various variables from the hidden set, and then iteratively run this entire process multiple times to arrive at an exact estimate of the hidden set and thus the private keys in question.
Several of the kernal equations, even assuming mere approximations of the hidden set and initialization variables, are convergent, which means I really am pretty close.
I've also had some new ideas related to ECC encryption and modular numbers but thats more of a stretch. It has to do with non-standard rotations of fourier-transformed projections of a modular field forming an isomorphism between cosets of dihedral groups and D, the unsigned integer that forms the private key for an elliptic curve.
But that last bit is theoretical work at this time.
2 weeks, or 2 years, but realistically, without shitposting, its gonna be in that time frame.
yes. the japanese have been doing it for years. At first it was only one molecule. Then multiple mols across the room. Talk is now they can move just about any inanimate objects across the room, up to a few grams. Every now and again, you can catch a write up about it, but its kept on the low down for sure.
Congratulations, you just discovered the problem every teenager watching Star Wars thought about and then discarded, because it's not a useful problem to waste time on.
So according to physics you could waves of entangled particles, and they would have to arrive such that they joined as molecules and the quantum state could be transferred. That would be really hard.
Another technique is Fowler-Nordheim Tunneling just step right through a wall.
"The Tree of Life, or Etz haChayim (עץ החיים) in Hebrew, is a mystical symbol used in the Kabbalah of esoteric Judaism to describe the path to HaShem and the manner in which he created the world ex nihilo (out of nothing)."
So creation requires one to ignore basic discernment within all perceivable for "nothing" suggested by a jew.
Teleport can't work with living beings, only works with inanimate objects.
A living being can only exist within (in) animation (animate)...subjecting oneself to jewish suggestions makes perceivable objectivity harder to discern.
teleportation
If nothing doesn't exist, then teleporting within everything implies a switching of position. If Kirk teleports; then what is he being switched with?
You are the temporary and constantly in flux electrical storm housed within a skull. That's YOU. You are an arrangement of neural activity. You are not the neurons, you are not the electrons. You are the emergent entity.
What if you were created just a second ago, with memories of your entire 'life'? What if you die and are recreated a million times a second? What if no one else exists? What if you are just a brain in a jar?

One studio for teleport (beam me up; scotty)...CUT...one studio for location (oh shit; it's the gorn). Imagine the possibilities...
Work implies energy. Everything implies energy. Even a contradiction like "can't aka can nothing" works if everything is energy.
The basic of destruction implies whole setting itself apart internally aka internal separation of energy.
The basic of creation is based on ones ignorance of the aforementioned for Creatio ex nihilo... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creatio_ex_nihilo
"The Tree of Life, or Etz haChayim (עץ החיים) in Hebrew, is a mystical symbol used in the Kabbalah of esoteric Judaism to describe the path to HaShem and the manner in which he created the world ex nihilo (out of nothing)."
