You know con...I played with a hidden hand for a few/3 decades, I've experienced a lot of shit and saw even more, some things to this day I wish I never saw and still occupy the recess of my mind, but without being involved in what I was I'd never know what the truth is, in fact I can't even state much of it because out front it appears unbelievable. A lie is something that is told when the truth is too hard to believe. The "war on drugs is a fucking joke".
I'll give you this little tidbit, during the Vietnam War, and post up to about 1982, high potency "tai-weed" was being imported into 2 North Americans ports (that I'm aware of) and it was packed inside disarmed Howitzer shells, it was given the name "BULLET TAI" and it was powerful as fuck, more kick than the loaded rnd, but there was lots of it and never once was the "supply line" interrupted. This shit hit the Western coastline of North America and ended up all over the place, there was lots. This was only possible with the aid of government (military). It's a fucking joke.

If you want to end mass addiction end welfare. Require those people to have functional lives if they want to live and you will have fewer people turning their life into a waste.

It doesn't matter how many trails you bomb, people will always have the capacity to choose to waste their life on some addiction. If it's not fent it's alcohol. If you make that a viable option for people you will have 10x of that going on compared to what you would otherwise have.

You have to make sure people know that if they let a substance take over their life and they become a useless person that they are going to starve quickly and no one is going to help them.

If someone wants to shoot drugs into their eyeballs and die why should I give a fuck ? There are far more better places to spend money but ukraine isnt one of them for sure.

True but you're never going to get people to really get motivated to save people from drugs because for the most part being a drug addict is something you have to stand up and volunteer to do. Now in the case of secret fentanyl overdoses or the oxycontin disaster or people were literally pushed to taking heroin which got them involuntarily addicted that's a different story but those are special cases and you're just not going to get people to care about people who are drug users who get themselves into trouble. We've got people in trouble who didn't volunteer for it.
