People need to understand time machines exist and some people have them. It's no more amazing than splitting the tiny atom was. Someone figured out how to do it and they have it and that's that. It doesn't change everything but it changes some things. Get used to the idea.

the Mandela effect is gaslighting and lies

If a time machine exists then it has always existed.

A small part of me wants to explain physics.

A large part of me realizes that it would be futile.

They're the same sort of moron that thinks the planet is flat.

The planets appear to be lights in the sky. The earth appears to not be a ball.

What's the hard part for you?

LOL

And an earlier visitor today appeared to be a dinosaur.

I suppose the moon looks like a flat disk to the illiterate. I get a kick out of the folks who think we've never been to the moon. We literally put a fairly large crystal on the moon and bounce a laser off of it every day. We use it to measure the distance between us and the moon. (The moon is, of course, moving away from the earth at a rate of about 4 cm per year.)

non-sequitur

Ability to read has nothing to do with its appearance...

Prove it. You can't. You're just going to appeal to an authority that says it's so.
(The moon is, of course, moving away from the earth at a rate of about 4 cm per year.)
Also no proof for this.

El. Oh. El.

Did you not notice the ample proof that is the crystal on the moon that reflects a laser and is checked by various institutes (include schools, 'cause it's trivial to do) daily?

LOL

But, you're right. I can't argue with a stupid person. You're better at being stupid than I am. You win the stupid prize! (And don't even realize it.)

Are you illiterate?

I said "Prove it. You can't. You're just going to appeal to an authority that says it's so."

You're just reifying the model, begging the question, and affirming the consequent again.

But, you're right. I can't argue with a stupid person.

You haven't made an argument yet.

You're better at being stupid than I am. You win the stupid prize! (And don't even realize it.)

Ad hominems.

Thank you for admitting you don't have an argument.
I accept your concession of defeat.

Well, at least you're commited to your LARP.

For any readers, there's a fairly small group of people who are trying to get you to distrust fundamental science.

I'll give you a hint or three:

They're not fans of bacon. Causing dissent is important for them. They ignore basic words like 'proof' and use phrases like 'non-sequitor' (that means, 'does not follow') improperly.

I'll let you decide on who that is exactly, but look out for them and the way they detract from important things.

Gaslighting.

They ignore basic words like 'proof' and use phrases like 'non-sequitor' (that means, 'does not follow') improperly.

You not having proof; You're projecting, and somehow also misunderstanding that what you said didn't follow what I had said, thus it was a non-sequitur(sp).

You're out of your league in this conversation.

Lol, shooting laser at a crystal moving thousand of miles an hour hile we spin and hitting no resistance along the way. These idiots will believe anything id it reinforces their indoctrination.

So trivial he can't replicate the experiment but believes in institutions that say they can.

Boomer moon landings Believers will always be good goys

We are a time traveling species already. Nobody seems to ever understand this.

In our perspective, we travel forward on the "arrow of time..."

[ - ] Prairie 1 point 1 monthOct 31, 2024 16:09:59 ago (+1/-0)

The concept of time travel is logically inconsistent. Just try to describe the sequence of events of a time traveler, without creating a new time dimension to order things.

It isn't a machine

"What do we want?" TIME TRAVEL
"When do we want it?" IT'S IRRELEVANT

Well and good for them, but if they use it they split off into a different universe each time.
