The best roofing guy in both the Carolinas used mexes as his crew. We talked about it. He said even if he paid more, White boys didn't want to do the work anymore.
He was a taskmaster when it came to the work. He was a Boss. Old guy that he was. I always have a soft spot in me for him, because when we came into contact he was grieving the loss of his daughter and I was grieving over a loss, too.
