I've never been threatened by any script, or even by coding AI systems. I am invincible until they become truly novel.
That said, I have had these words said to me over in-office comms: "You are just trying to replace us all with scripts and bots"
I didn't reply, because I was literally told to replace their functions, because they suck at doing them, but they won't be replaced themselves, they just get different, low end duties and a script renews our SSL certificate instead of them getting a ticket to do it and then asking me to do it.
The people being replaced by automation are extremely unskilled (ie: Level 1 Tech Support and CS Reps.).

Also, for those that are able, there are only a few companies that hire based on that merit. Getting a foot in the door is tough.
