Did you know that moderately to severely disabled kids get gov't programs from birth to death. The parents are in programs that pay for endless care for their children and pay them to take care during the hours the pros aren't in attendance. I don't know that I am advocating for or against anything, but that's crazy to think about. The dollars being spent taking care of bad luck of the draw offspring that will never be an independently mobile human being. They will always need more than one gov't program until they pass. What makes it all the worse is that I have seen a few severely-disabled people whose bodies are a total wreck but I saw them in there. Their minds were much sharper than their coordination. When the parents die should they live that long, they will be thrown into the meat grinder of state care in the deft hands of DeShonka and her mate Tyrone or Unkwalabo. If a doctor informs you that your unborn child is going to be severely-handicapped because of such and such, is it murder to terminate?

To answer your question, yes, getting out and getting stimulation helps at every level of disability. It is remarkable seeing them realize something new to them and grand.

That minority tends to do a lot of accidental damage if left unmanaged. That being said, much like the abortion bullshit, this changes nothing. The removal of the DOE just means schooling will be state managed from now on. I've yet to see anywhere that says federal funding will be cut.
