The effects of waiting to 30s for women and fertility

submitted by GodsNotDead to Rants 5 monthsNov 20, 2024 13:44:22 ago (+10/-0)     (Rants)

Theres' this new delusional idea that women can get healthy pregnant babies at 35+ or even 40 because .... reasons. The thing is a woman could be perfectly healthy, but the line between fertile and menopause is insanely tight. This is especially given since menopause can happen from anywhere as early as late 30s and onwards. I believe geriatric is considered anyone beyond 38. And yet, so many women these days say it can be done because they know ONE woman somewhere that was capable of doing it, hence its proof age and fertility dont matter. The official definition says menopause doesnt happen until 52 (average), giving the false impression that a woman can get pregnant until their 50s. This is patently absurd, but people read the trash on google and assume its true because they dont understand how averages and medians work. Im sure there's also a lot of data tampering to have pulled such a ridiculous number.

This doesnt even get into the dangers of child bearing so late, the complications, all the different issues that can occur. All that so some whore can go be a slut in her 20s.

Agree. As a woman who had my first at an age considered very young in today’s world, I have received lots of condescension from other women. I could feel their judgment even if they never voiced it. We are taught to focus on college and career and not family. So many of my friends didn’t even start trying to conceive until mid thirties and several of them were unable to and have spent tens of thousands on fertility treatments and suffered miscarriages.

No one likes to admit it but a pregnancy at 35 is considered advanced maternal age medically. Your risks of something being wrong start increasing each year. Yes, many people over 35 have healthy babies but you are taking a chance on getting a tard.

Another factor is that your body bounces back so much better when you are young. I was back in my jeans two weeks postpartum and the biddies at my job were so catty about it. I’m sorry that you waited till 37 to have a baby, Janet and now you’re a whale. Biologically we are built to birth much earlier than society tells us.

I had them both. Barely legal and 35+. Breastfeeding is tossed out the window over a certain age. I'm positive Big Formula™️ pushes having kids at an older age so they can sell more of it to the public.

Oh for sure. No time to breastfeed when you have to go to your full time job and drop your newborn off at an institutionalized daycare.

My wife had our first at 24, our last (#4) at 35. She said that her 4th pregnancy at 35 was more difficult than the first.

I will get to making aryan babies soon then.

Based on genetics of my wife, there’s likely a 1 in 4 or a 1 in 8 chance that one of my children will come out as a dark skin dark haired whop deigo with a Brooklyn accent.
