One of my highlight moments when motoring throughout America's farm lands, from the Dakotas to mid US, Oklahoma, Iowa
Nebraska Kansas, were the crop dusters that would fly parallel to me.(1930s vintage Pratt & Witney),
Just a point of interest, there's a guy in Clinton Oklahoma, his kid is 20years old now, but at 15years the kid was an ace, he was showing buddy and I footage of his kid flying underneath powerlines and when that fucking kid came in for landing he didn't give a fuck about the glide decend ratio he fucking dropped that plane on the ground from heights that would normally produce shock loading, that fucking kid was a natural, that plane was grafted to his body.

You can only do that so many times till the wings fall off

@NoRefunds ...and that's what I told him, he stays up on the maintenance and repairs and yearly cert/inspection and the kid is right into too, and still flying...but the kid is good.

There's no maintenence to keep the glue that holds the wings on from failing and yes it is glue.

Was it just the tip?

This is how Randy Roads dieded.

[ - ] Sector2 3 points 5 monthsNov 21, 2024 20:29:17 ago (+3/-0)

The initial impact with the bus caused Rhoads' and Youngblood's heads to crash through the plane's windshield. The plane then severed the top of a pine tree and crashed into the garage of a nearby mansion, bursting into flames. Rhoads (25) was killed instantly, as were Aycock (36) and Youngblood (58).

Impact with a bus while flying an airplane. "Something went wrong"

Randy Roads

Be careful when accepting rides.

And that white thing left behind on the bike didnt come from his aircraft did it/.

Only in (im guessing) Russia.

[ - ] dass 1 point 5 monthsNov 22, 2024 14:18:39 ago (+1/-0)

Yea, i listened a couple of times - nothing actually screamed sounded Rus until the very end exclamation. But maybe then 'JFC' sounds universal.
