Correct. Last I checked it’s like 12%, on top of all the other shit we pay as employers. Hell, I haven’t done payroll in years, we sub that out. However, I haven’t signed the back of a paycheck in 20+ years.

Half is provided by your employer, half is deducted from your paycheck. So yes, your paycheck should be different.
