No, because that won’t happen. The costs won’t be that high. It’s exaggerated to spread fear and keep the stuff coming from over seas. The markets will adjust, the economy will abide. It’s been that way forever, fear mongering and mis information is the weapon of the day to keep the money train going for the elites. So bring on the tariffs, bring manufacturing and jobs back to America. A blue collar working middle class populace will thrive.
By giveing mfg a heads up in advance, they can start to source in alternative countries. Vietnam, Malaysia etc etc. Next, if people are forced to stop buying cheap chit out of china, of course the cost of products made there will go up. However, some of that manufacturing will move home, and to places we do not consider a peer competitor, as well. Further, China will not be able to fund their military so aggressively. What is the price for that to occur?
I don't believe Chinese tarrifs will be as disruptive to the US as you seem to think Doysvydanya.

thank you for the civil response. from copilot:
how much trading does america does with china this year ?
In 2024, the total trade volume between the United States and China amounted to approximately $327 billion. This includes $104.7 billion in U.S. exports to China and $322.2 billion in imports from China.
eh, you could be right or not. time will tell. most americans go to shop at walmart and cotsco which are huge chinese investments in the world economy. amazon shares some of the pie too but guess where they get their products from?
i rest my case
building manufacturing in other countries does take time. you cannot do that in just one day
inflation will likely get worse now. these countries will not lose pay extra to export their goods and services to us. thus, they will make us pay double for the same product.
this is not the time for this until inflation is tamed
wrong, we didnt had high inflation in before 2020. this bullshit happened because minimum wages were raised to anomalous amounts thus putting pressure in companies to pass the costs to the consumer
also, we came off the lockdowns which were meant to hurt the middle and lower classes because of the fake scarcity remember that?
it seems that you dont have a grasp of what just transpired a few years ago.
before CONvid the prices of good and services were competitive and rather cheap compared after the scam as ended
YOU GO BACK TO THE DEBT, TELL THE YOUTUBER FAKE ECOOMIST THAT IS TRYING TO SELLIN20G YOU GOLD AND SILVER THAT, AGAIN THE U.S ALREADY WAS IN DEEP NATIONAL DEBT BEFORE 2020 AND YET PRICES WERE STABLE, LET ME REPEAT THE PRICES WERE STABLE
YOU COULD BUY A HAMBURGER FOR LESS THAN A DOLLAR. TODAY IT COSTS YOU DOUBLE OR EVEN TRIPLE OF WHAT YOU USED TO PAY BEFORE TEH SCAMDEMIC
HAVE YOU DONE GROCERY LATELY I HAVE AND I HAD MORE PURCHASING POWER BEFORE THE SCAM THAN NOW.
SEEMS THAT YOU HAVE SELECTIVE MEMORY. OH WELL, THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM BUT EITHER WAY PREPARE YOUR ASS TO PAY EVEN MORE FOR THE SAME GOOD AND SERVICES
And folks in the 50’s had more purchasing power than when we were in the 90’s. Once again, you’re a god damn stupid idiot. Our economy is built on debt and inflation is part of it. There is no curbing it unless they crash it and start over. Fuck you, nigger jew.
SEE you cannot grasp what is happening. no amount of explanation will change your mind until it hits you deeper in the pockets. like i said no my problem if you are blind of what is being done to the country
you can play the tariff game if inflation is under control which right now it isnt .
but what can i say. you cant teach basic economics to emotional people
Sure, he's gonna do that. Remember eight years ago when he said he would renegotiate NAFTA, which would change the nature of free trade between the US, Mexico, and Canada? Yeah, that never happened.
I remember when NAFTA was passed under Clinton. That got a lot of press coverage and resulted in enormous changes to the US economy. Trump's renegotiation? Not so much. In fact, I didn't know about that until just now, and I guess that's how meaningful it was. I doubt it resulted in a new benefit for America and American workers. Seriously, does anyone think it resulted in jobs returning the the US? If it's something even the libs at Politifact can say was a "promise kept", it likely had no effect that was objectionable to them.
