I wish. Been outlawed for like a century.

Some people still have some and it still burns!

Reading through the comments, I'm starting to think Brits might be actually retarded.

Serious question, What comments do you have ? - from the top on my page almost every single comment is calling out ultra processed food/ seed oils, and using dripping, lard and tallow etc instead.

It's a fruit oil, but it's taste is a bit, well it's something. So I'm unsure how truly healthy it is.

I'll stick with butter, coconut oil and tallow.

Isn't a lot of it how the oils are extracted? If it requires chemicals added (then mostly removed), I assume it's bad.

[ - ] dassar 2 points 4 monthsDec 14, 2024 15:30:05 ago (+2/-0)

Yea it's both, from the actual product itself and the extraction process - unless it is cold pressed (the better way / and generally more expensive) all these seed oils akaik use HEXANE during the extraction process which is supposedly then heated off from the final product.

Of course, the medical/ scientific/ and regulatory establishment all say it is safe for use - just like pesticides and glycophyte/ roundup.

No. "Cooking oils" of today were exclusively machine lubricants until after we lost WWII.

Yeah, but odds are you have never tasted real olive oil.

The real stuff tastes like grass.
