FUCK YOU! And also, a straight, based man isn't required to have any hair at all. Fashion and body hair is not a factor in whether or not someone is a based person.
I'm beginning to believe the term "based" will be viewed in twenty years how we view the word "woke" now.
Many factors. If you live in cold climate then yes. Its just common sense. Just do you. If you want a beard then have one. I keep a baby face until winter comes then I grow a fucking Grizzly Adams beard. The moment winter breaks, I shave that shit off. My wife prefers the beard but she can fuck off I do whatever I want bitch

All else equal, beards are a masculine thing. But it depends on how much value you are going to ascribe, like what sort of evidence you think a beard by itself can give you.
I've pointed out before that about a decade ago, all of the liberal men I know began following this same pattern: grow a beard, get into craft beers, and smoke cigars. It was like they all found a meme for asserting their manhood rather than actually thinking and acting like men in a more organic way. This just follows with the superficiality of our culture. The appearance is what counts, not the substance. This was all evident from the way they over-talked about it, making conversations all of the time about their beards and their beers.
It felt more like kids who discovered their dads tools and thought just having the tools meant building something useful.
In terms of the importance of beards for being straight and based? Can't be. A ton of slack-jawed faggots have beards.
In terms of attracting the opposite sex. It is pretty 'in' right now, so it isn't going to hurt you at all. These things go in waves. When I was growing up, right through high school, women eschewed beards. You didn't hear any women raving about them. The celebrity crushes were all men without beards. Women pick up on trends; their desires tend to be mimetic, i.e., based on what other women want. The beard 'thing' came in, and all of a sudden women who had never cared about them all wanted men with beards. It won't surprise me if ten years from now they aren't in vogue anymore. But again, a well-groomed beard is always going to be a sign of masculinity and maturity.
Beards have become a quick and easy way to tell if you're dealing with a woke faggot. Guys grow a beard by simply stopping shaving, which means that negative effort required. In other words it's perfect for these modern simpering wannabe men. It's like the ultimate life hack for virtue signalling non-existent masculinity.
Though because they are woke idiots they don't actually want to be seen as more masculine except as in a woke context. So they are 'masculine' without being aggressive or strong, and they definitely don't want to seen as challenging to women who are, after all, obviously 'superior to men in all ways'. But a beard does make them cuter.
But it's all superficial bullshit, just like a tats. Though a tattoo costs money and may involve a bit of pain so at least a modicum of commitment is involved. Whereas all you need for growing a beard is to do one less thing for your daily personal hygiene.
Beards today are like alligator polo shirts in the 80s.

Keeping a low body fat percentage so you can have nice cheek bones.
It is a lot of work but worth it. Let the fat men have their beards.
Adolf Hitler was a handsome fellow and sported a small mustache. As it would have been criminal to hide his jawline.

b) Beard implies "outgrow" aka growing out from within...no import can substitute that.
