FUN FACT: for an amateur drone operator to even leave the ground, he must first connect to a number of satellites that are currently overhead. For my drone it was 11 satellites to secure GPS.

I have also owned a few drones that hover around the house with no guidance but beer.

Point being, a Walmart toy can be a very affective weapon …., and it has a camera…cheers!

GPS is receive only. They get no information from you. Your personal devices cannot reach a satellite in orbit and those satellites don't want to hear from you anyway.

Plenty of videos on Youtube of people trying to shoot cheap drones with various guns. Shotguns never bring them down, unless they are using a custom round like a bola shell that will tangle up the rotors.
