I was lucky enough to see Bowie live at a small venue back in 2004. It was an excellent show.

I had floor seats for the glass spider tour. Frampton on lead guitar, light show was amazing for stadium venue. I’m not a huge fan but I had a spectacular time……, coulda been the zoomers and hash…., concert was just so great!

Why did David Bowie refuse his knighthood?

Bowie was awarded a CBE in 2000 and a Knighthood in 2003 by the Queen, which he refused both, saying:

“I would never have any intention of accepting anything like that.”

He added: “I seriously don’t know what it’s for. It’s not what I spent my life working for.”

And just like that, Bowie reaffirmed his position as one of the people, for the people.
