That was such a bizarre video. I kept expecting the Russian (thought it was the Ukrainian when I first watched it) to land an effective strike with the knife over and over. I've seen quite a few stabbings and for the most part people get stabbed a lot of times in a short period of time. And it appeared the Russian was dominating for a good portion of the fight. I imagine people who know they're going to die frequently grab the blade like in that video, but usually unless they outclass their attacker a fair bit they usually end up losing hold and the attacker gets a killing strike.
Just seems weird to me that it lasted so long and then the Ukrainian was allowed to die on his own terms for the most part and not just stabbed through the throat.
