20 gallons of gas is 8% of the fuel used to travel its full distance.

Literally 92% of ice cars store their energy needs outside the vehicle.

Which contrast to EV which must carry 100% of its fuel needs and that fuel is highly reactive without a need for an ignition source.

Making ev much more dangerous and of course heavier.

And fuel in liquid form cannot combust. Ice car fires are much much rarer now with precautions to prevent its evaporating

There are far more gasoline car fires than ev car fires.
The only reason they don't make the news is because:

You only hear about EV fires because they are rare and gasoline fires are "normal".
Turns out gasoline and electric hybrids are the worst though.

Protip: Spraying gasoline on Lithium Ion batteries is discouraged.

Nope. I used to own an old VW van back in the day and it was a pos but I drove it for a while during my "van phase". I've owned several cool vans. I will never go electric.
