Dude...the other day at work I get a support ticket about audio not working in the jail courtroom. I get down there and a bunch of women start squawking about it not working.

I hit the power button and walked out.

pushing that second button is the same as opening a can of biscuits.

Believe me she knows about the reset button on the outlet. She just wants you to do it.

And YET they clog the ranks of Government & Corporate America! YEAH TEAM!

I once told a woman that I was changing a fuse.

I do handyman jobs on the side for easy under the table cash. I have made hundreds of dollars pushing the reset button on GFI outlets and I am a fucking hero to a dozen old ladies

Funny! I've had this very conversation with EVERY female in my family.

I hate that shit so much. They try to laugh it off but to me it draws attention to their foolishness.

I have a relatable anecdote:

"Hey Her0n we put in a new furnace oscillator back in October and ever since then, your program doesn't work right. The safety lights are lit up for when it's gone too far one way or the other! It won't move in auto, but it moves in manual! Can you come fix the program?"

When I got there, I went to the panel and saw they opened the terminal fuse on the neutral side for my controls, wasn't anything to do with the safety system.

I pushed the fuse back in and the system fired right up. After I told them what I found/did the guy who called me says "Well we still need the program fixed, it wasn't going in auto!"

It was just us in the room at this point so I said "No shit it wasn't going in auto. The plc had no clue where the oscillator was, would you want it to move the wrong direction? Why would you not make sure all your fuses are plugged in before calling me to just put fuses in for you?"

I was packing up my things and walking myself to the office to put in my paperwork for them. I didn't hear him if he responded, it's loud by the furnace. This guy calls me about once every two months for stupid shit like this, then acts like it's still my work that's the issue.

Fucking sledgehammer technicians.

Because a lot of them are quite literally retarded. Unfortunately you picked a retard who would rather inconvenience you than take 3 seconds to think about something. It's like some of them are incapable of learning anything useful.
