It's almost like getting a masters degree doesn't put you above human nature. Like, you read about Freud and now you can transcend the things that make women do this? The lie detector said: that's a lie. Women have no business working regular positions in the prison system, at least in capacities where they are going to interact with inmates. There are many reasons. These men are antisocial and have narcissistic tendencies; they'll manipulate. And women are easily manipulable. It's like a building full of the bad boys, long-term projects aka fixer-uppers. What a nightmare.

We have the same problem here in Quebec. About a month ago, it was revealed that the women working in the youth centres here, including the one not too far from where I live, routinely had sexual relations with the inmates and even got impregnated. A lot of it has to do with the fact that the women are not often that much older than the men and, being women, have no defence against these "bad boys" who manipulate them. A quick solution would be to stop women from ever going to these places altogether, but that would be sexist!
