PSA for anyone getting pulled over after drinking:

DON'T FUCKING BLOW OR DO A SOBRIETY TEST. It can only serve to hurt you. You can get DUI even if you're under the legal limit. They will threaten you with a suspended license - you can overcome that. But you will not beat the charge if you blow over the legal limit, and you will likely not beat the charge if you blow any %. If the cop says he suspects DUI, just stfu and call a lawyer ASAP.

Don't cheap out on the lawyer either. I blew a 0.12 like a dumbass, and I got "any old DUI lawyer" because I didn't want to tell my parents (turns out Dad knew a guy), and I was young and stupid and didn't know shit about the law. My fucking shitty lawyer worked to get the less serious charges dropped while sticking me with the more serious charge. All I heard was "you're charged with 4 misdemeanors; I got 3 dropped" and thought cool, only 1 charge instead of 4. Turns out the 1 charge was a 1st degree misdemeanor and the others were 3rd or whatever, low-grade misdemeanors. That part was not explained to me, and it turns out 1st degree misdemeanors are felony light - I don't lose voting privilege or gun rights, but they are huge red flags on employment background checks. I have lost potential jobs over it over a decade later.

Fortunately my job at the time was good with it, but I had to ride my bike to work for 6 months. Couldn't get to the court house because it was 45 miles away, so my shitty lawyer did the deals mostly without me until it came to sentencing.

DUIs definitely derail your life - mine was 15 years ago now, and I still get to deal with the fallout. These aren't your dad's DUIs, where the cop is all "Now you boys go straight home and don't spill your beer!" These are "throw the book at you so hard surgery won't remove it" DUIs.

All that said, I'm making more money now, with a better life, after the dark DUI period. I'm sure part of that is because it sent a fucking message that is still echoing today. I'm not a teetotaler, but I certainly sobered the fuck up and swore off any drinking and driving. No less than 12 hours from the bottle to the throttle.

So yea I'll bet life is dark right now. It's brighter on the other side, but you ran afoul of Johnny Law, and of the Legal Industry (there is no justice in our justice system, save for the "just us" part). You padded some officer's/prosecutor's/judge's stats and bought some lawyer lunch for the next year. Probably 3/4 of the recipients are jewish to boot, so now you've got to answer to the goats for funding yids.

Which brings my rant to the real takeaway - DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, not only because it fucks up your life, but more importantly, BECAUSE YOU'RE SUPPORTING JEWS WHEN YOU DO.

Call the electric company ask for a payment plan. It can at least stall the being cut off. Remember every bill can be half paid except for the phone and internet (bastards) hell even 1/3 paid if you have a decent record.

Why didn't you hire a lawyer after the DUI? Never blow and never do a test. You are just giving them evidence against you. And don't worry about that "losing license shit". That's for a judge to decide, not the cops.

Getting drunk won't make anything better so quit thinking about it. I'm pretty fuckin sure it's what actually got you in this situation.
