My boy Willy came home today.

Willy was a foster cat I had. I obviously failed because he stayed with me which can be common. I had him since he was weened from his mother. Blue eyes which would eventually turn emerald green. He was everywhere I was. He would put his paws on me delicately when he wanted attention and would rub his face into mine. He suddenly started acting funny and was swollen in the abdomen. See male cats can get UTIs that become impacted but don't become a problem until it's too late. I watched him as he cried to me. No fever, swinging his tail. Made a vet appointment for the next day. Got up to use it and saw him next to the full food bowl and water bowl. He was gone. Had been for a while. Now he's a box ashes and a baggie of fur. I still see him in my dreams and he's fine. Thanks goats.

Nearly all the cats I've had are castaways. Bubs was gonna be left behind outside to fend for himself. Momma was a shelter cat that was abandoned by her previous family and lived in a no kill shelter for 5 years with one application. She was the best. I miss her the most. These fosters which I found homes for most were born in an apartment complex where being run over was a problem.

Little bit of both. I still have his brother Duffy. He was bout 6-7" when I first got him. His head was so heavy he would wobble. He just clung to me.

Story Time: I was walking to my apt. in Austin one eve & a little girl about 4-5 had a cat & told me cat scratched her,she didn't want cat anymore,I took cat thinking Mom would be around to collect him & lo & behold,right on que here she comes with an armful of kittyfood,liter,& box. She Told me she'd had enough an gave
me the kitten & all the trimmings. Turned out to be the very best cat I've ever had,& I had him for (11)yrs.

My now deceased buddy was a kitten living under my sisters tool shed.

I took him home. In 11 years he was nearly silent. He would follow me from room to room and sit on my foot when I sat down.

He eventually got cancer. Smokey. He was a good boy.

Damn, goat. So sorry to hear that. Lots of pet deaths lately. Its a little weird. My best friend and uncle lost a dog each a day apart yesterday and the day before as well as the ither goats here. Cats and dogs are the best people.

I know how it feels, we lost our cat Sunday morning. He was hit by a car. He was a couple months old when my kids found him in our garden, one thing led to another and the next thing you know we had toys, a litter box, food, etc.

I was never much for cats but this cat bonded really well with my kids and with me as well. My wife has always been creeped out by cats and fur but eventually started letting him sleep in the house first on cold nights and later on for almost any reason. She started to appreciate him so much (due to the really cool relationship he had with the kids) she even took a picture with him in her arms (she wrapped him in a towel first; she really is creeped out by fur) and later on began to pet him with her bare hands.

We only had him for three years but I really liked that damn cat. My whole family is bummed out, just like you are right now.

Rest in peace to both my cat and yours.

Man, that's awful. Went through something similar with our 4 year old Tabby. Almost 3 months, but still get choked up when i think of him. Sorry for your loss, man.

That's happened for both of us this week, rip little kitty, you were loved, that's all we can do , love and care for them. I'm sure you were an awesome owner and it's sad how things turn out sometimes. Chin up, scatter those asked where the little guys favourite place was.
