this sort of gives us a warning about the mechanism used.

1. weird ringtone.
2. error with an arrow next to it.
3. the bomb goes off after a time delay when you hit the button.
4. we KNOW they hid the bomb in the batteries

not waiting for the user to come close would demand a device thats far more complicated and thus they cant shove as many explosives in there OR theres a lot of things that can go wrong, and if they survive, congrats that was your one bomb and now they know theres an assassination attempt out on them
