"eat more cheddar"

[ - ] jfroybees 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 03:43:51 ago (+0/-0)

https://www.soupersage.com/compare-nutrition/egg-vs-cheese

Raw milk cheese is a real superfood. I forget exactly why at the moment, but raw milk gouda is one of those miracle food items, top pick for a cheese. Here we are, not the "sciency" article I read, but it covers stuff. https://www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/gouda-the-nutrient-dense-cheese-of-choice/

Fuck it, I’ll stick to black espresso.

Keeps the appetite suppressed. Then have some ground beef topped with cheddar for dinner.

[ - ] MaryXmas 1 point 4 monthsFeb 16, 2025 23:37:46 ago (+1/-0)

...don't you have a new and very expensive espresso machine... You can probably get cream if you wanted...

You know, there is a very high chance we lose Coffee, chocolate and even beef, in the next 24 months.

Never to return.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:59:56 ago (+0/-0)

We don’t need 2 out of 3 of those.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:59:14 ago (+0/-0)

Stop drinking coffee. Its just another addiction. Youre subsidizing a bunch of shitskins. The money you save you can put toward healthy food like eggs.

[ - ] puremadness 2 points 4 monthsFeb 16, 2025 23:31:17 ago (+2/-0)

dozen AA eggs were $9.99 last week @ Ralphs Grocery

(oh and I've been sick for a week)

[ - ] Sector2 0 points 4 monthsFeb 16, 2025 23:53:37 ago (+1/-1)

$9 for two dozen at Costco. You just have to go in the morning to get any.

[ - ] SteppingRazor 2 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 00:58:13 ago (+2/-0)

I didn’t have any problem on valentines night, paid about the same. I just looked back at my warehouse purchases on the site and see I paid $15.98 for the same on 9/24/24

Why isn't chicken going up at the same rate of eggs?

[ - ] NeverHappened 1 point 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:44:33 ago (+1/-0)

Chicken already went up here. It's been like $5/lb for fresh and $3/lb frozen for some time now. Ground beef is around $4/lb. Eggs are back under $4/doz now but in 2020 they were $.18/ doz.

[ - ] glooper 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:24:02 ago (+0/-0)

[ - ] boekanier 1 point 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 02:19:26 ago (+1/-0)

'protein intake' never thought in such terms when I was eating my food.

[ - ] Stonkmar 3 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 04:31:45 ago (+3/-0)

Gotta count those macros

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 12:07:06 ago (+0/-0)

Quit the coffee and the soft drinks and ice cream. Lose 10 lbs and you will be able to reduce your grocery bill by ~5%

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:42:49 ago (+0/-0)

Mmm. I’m gonna cook some eggs right now!

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:45:57 ago (+0/-0)

Recently saw someone mention how back in the day, eggs and toilet paper were so cheap we used to vandalize people's houses with them. lol.

[ - ] Looneyskiprooney 1 point 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 19:44:33 ago (+1/-0)

Mischief nite. We used to bury the eggs because we would buy them labor day weekend. If you were a kid you couldn't buy them in October.

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 4 monthsFeb 18, 2025 10:11:22 ago (+0/-0)

Too funny. It's even mentioned on the wiki how stores often won't sell eggs to kids around that time of year. The "holiday" looks to be more of a NE thing. In the Midwest where I am from TPing wasn't relegated to a certain time of year. I never really partook in the activity but I can say it was certainly popular among my older siblings' friend groups.

[ - ] LiberalsAreMental 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:27:43 ago (+0/-0)

How much did you spend on eggs before?

If that tripped or quadrupled, does it matter?

People are stupid because they can not math.

[ - ] glooper 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:26:20 ago (+0/-0)

remember fucktards. Ukraien supplies about 40% of the worlds food. Throw in the ferts and its another 30%...

Guess who's not growing or exporting shyt.

Next year is even going to be more expensive to buy food. Nobody in the world, is paying much attention to the food futures markets.

Voat faggots don't want to hear this fact.

They are too busy sucking off the trump/musk/jew.

[ - ] KosherHiveKicker 4 points 4 monthsFeb 16, 2025 22:36:12 ago (+4/-0)

We all know that they have been attacking our domestic food supply chain at every level from the live stock feed, field vaccines, and all the way to the grocery store freezers.

All this while they simultaneously try to push Corporate controlled fake proteins upon us. Insects, and fake lab produced "meat".

Trump is actually attempting to correct this with RFK Jr.'s appointment. In fact it was his very first action at the HHS.

[ - ] Sector2 2 points 4 monthsFeb 16, 2025 23:49:11 ago (+3/-1)

The insects are $30 to $60 per pound. No one is switching for the price.

[ - ] Leveraction 3 points 4 monthsFeb 16, 2025 22:28:00 ago (+4/-1)

[ - ] hylo 0 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:19:56 ago (+0/-0)

Be a chicken, even better.

[ - ] Peleg 2 points 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 07:42:43 ago (+2/-0)

Imaginary "dis-ease", filthy kike.

[ - ] hylo 1 point 4 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:21:14 ago (+1/-0)

They can't be helped. Their only purpose is to show the rest of us what deliberate ignorance looks like.
